In my opinion, no, I'd say it wouldn't be wise to move it to Google Sites. I suggest keeping Blogspot, and buying a domain. Or if you can afford it, buy a domain, and hosting with such a host as HostGator.

You could then setup WordPress if you wanted to have a bit more variety with how you customize your blog themes, and to better facilitate the entire site as a whole.

yeah what Alex said, Get some community sites like e107.

But yeah get a domain aleast. Been a while, but back in my days i used .tk (www.url.tk) as a free altertive.

I think you should stay on this one, just "revamp" the sites layout or something.
